'Soft Perm'
Storyline: When an unsuspecting customer decides to try a new hairdresser, whose style is a little different from her own, she gets more than the safe, 'soft perm' she was hoping for.
'Reception'
Storyline: Plugged in, hemmed in, and bombarded with calls and requests by faceless office workers in a busy, technological environment, a hacked off receptionist decides to pull the plug and get back to nature.
'Soft Perm' and 'Reception' were two stop-frame 3D animation shorts, filmed on 16mm as inserts for the BBC series 'Them & Us' (1991). Although there is no surviving footage of either film, the original models still exist and are photographed here in basic re-constructed sets.
